A sonnet to Listening

Turns out I can also put some blog poetry up. Who knew?

Pleasant sounds illiterate my soul

Teach me to read and write by sitting quiet

And listen, Listen! yet more with my Whole

It is simply fun, I do not deny it.

Have you truly tried to only hear

When your solemn Nature runs smoothly past?

Your assurances are no longer clear

Irony, that I cannot hear at last.

Still, by the time I find a slow spun peace

Where I can sit and Muse, create Poesy;

I find that, unlike when I am at ease

That wondrous sound provides my empathy.

Until, at long, Longer, last I find Reason

And bloom again into my summer Season

Kind Regards
